Ok, so a few days before the session, I’ll send out a link to show you how to download and install PostgreSql software on your machine (Windows, Mac, Linux – doesn’t matter) and to set up the training database.
Then on the day we’ll have a lot to cover so we hit the ground running.

As well as these core elements of SQL, we’ll also discuss some fundamental database principles and look at some of the theory behind working with data.
What does all this actually mean?
If you’re in a situation where maybe you’ve been hired on the basis of your Power BI or Tableau knowledge, but the role has evolved and now you need to know SQL… this one-day course will give you 90% of what you need to start amending and troubleshooting queries, even writing new ones from scratch. I say “90%”, because the other 10% just comes from practice and daily immersion in SQL.
